Every Saturday 2 Manchester institutions team up with Cord bringing you the only official Sankeys pre-club party! It rocks every week with Sankeys main room guests sometimes sticking their heads in and deciding they want to play.  It all gets going  at 8pm, get down early as we often have tickets and wristbands available for those otherwise  sold out Sankeys events.

ATTENTION ALL THRILL SEEKERS! boy, have we got a day for you. every third Sunday of the month Cord turns itself into a ear-belting, floor-pumping MONSTER rave venue with various DJ’s starting from 1pm (that’s right, 1pm!) going straight through til the doors close at 10.30pm. Be warned, this is not for the faint hearted but has been an amazing monster-a-thon event and is sure to continue in the same fashion!

Mani presents The Beat Club

Mani (Primal Scream’s) now legendary mod night has played host to the likes of Tim Burgess (The Charlatans), Eddie Pillar (Acid Jazz) and Little Barrie (Primal Scream) to name a few and is unsurprisingly a huge success.

John Robb’s louder than war is a punk rock Disco with DJ John Robb (Goldblade) cranking up the decibels with AK47 punk rock anthems, post punk, experimental madness to neo Goth dark weird shit, noise and anything loud and freaky from the last three decades…from the Clash to Shellac, from Suicide to Motorhead, from Bad Brains to Black Flag, from Rancid to the Birthday Party, From X Ray Spex to Rammstein- noise still annoys!
